Engaging activities for youth. Time to recharge for caregivers.
Respite Connections is a Saturday drop-off respite program for youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Held twice monthly in Mercer County, the program offers recreational activities in a group setting, promoting social engagement while giving caregivers a meaningful break.

Eligibility :

Youth ages 3-20 residing in Mercer County

What the Program Offers

  • Recreational group activities
  • Social skill development and peer interaction
  • Lunch provided at each session
  • 3:1 participant-to-staff ratio
  • Two Saturdays per month, 10am–2pm

Who Can Participate

  • Youth ages 6–21 with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
  • Mercer County residents

How It Works

  • Funded by Mercer County Aging and Disabilities Resource Connection (ADRC)
  • No cost to families
