This program helps make everyday life safer, more accessible, and more independent. This referral-based program provides essential home and vehicle modifications and assistive technology devices that help youth with developmental disabilities live more independently at home and in the community.

Youth with intellectual, developmental, or physical disabilities

What the Program Offers

  • Assistive technology devices tailored to individual needs
  • Home modifications to increase accessibility (ramps, accessible bathrooms, chair lifts, fencing, and more)
  • Vehicle modifications (adaptive equipment to support mobility and safety)
  • Devices such as adaptive tricycles, sensory toys, specialized car seats, weighted blankets, and more

Who Can Participate

  • Youth with intellectual, developmental, or physical disabilities
  • Must be referred through DCF (PerformCare)
