Ali Madad, Dr. Irina Koyfman and Marti Gardner bring experience across patient advocacy, nursing, caregiving, healthcare leadership, AI ethics and caregiver technology.
Ali Madad
Board-Certified Patient Advocate and Founder, GiveCare
Ali Madad works across research, policy, advocacy and technology to build open-source infrastructure for family caregivers. He created InvisibleBench, an open-source benchmark that tests how safely AI systems handle multi-turn caregiving conversations.
At the Coalition for Health AI, he led the work group on mental health chatbots. He also advises the Caregiver Action Network on AI ethics and safety through its Caregiver Innovation Council. Ali spent seven years as the primary caregiver for both of his parents, and GiveCare grew from his experience. He lives on Long Island’s North Shore with his wife and four children.
Dr. Irina Koyfman, DNP, NP-C, RN
Nurse Practitioner, Author, Speaker and CEO/President, Affinity Expert
Dr. Irina Koyfman is a nurse practitioner, author and speaker who helps patients, caregivers and healthcare leaders navigate care. Her work supports members of the Sandwich Generation who are caring for aging parents while raising children of their own.
She came to the United States from Ukraine at 17, began as an ESL student and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Johns Hopkins University. She is board certified by the American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, a certified Stress Management and Resiliency Trainer, and certified in Emotional Intelligence. With more than 25 years of clinical and executive experience, she has helped healthcare organizations build programs that support patients and caregivers.

Marti Gardner, MSN, RN, CCRC
Founder, Same Page Caregiving
Marti Gardner is a nurse and caregiving advocate with more than 33 years of nursing experience, including 20 years as a nurse practitioner before moving into executive nursing leadership. Her clinical background and personal caregiving experiences led her to create Same Page Caregiving, a platform designed to streamline communication, coordination and organization for family caregiving teams.
Marti supported loved ones through serious illnesses, including one of her dearest friends before her passing in 2019 and her mother until her passing in 2025. She created Same Page Caregiving after experiencing fragmented communication, scattered resources and the demands placed on caregivers. A resident of Louisville, Kentucky, she lives with her husband and values time with their two grown children.
