FRN’s Support Services provide individuals with disabilities and families of children with disabilities to get the support they need to lead a full and happy life.
FRN’s employment and transition programs support youth and adults with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities through mentorship, education, and employment in order to become integrated, productive members of their communities.
FRN’s public health department aims to address the social determinants of health that impact individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and chronic conditions.
The Family Resource Network provides engaging educational opportunities for professionals, families, and individuals across New Jersey. Our programs are offered both virtually and in person and cover a wide range of topics, including epilepsy, autism, caregiving, transition planning, and IEP development.

At Family Resource Network, our Development team plays a direct role in supporting programs that help individuals and families living with disabilities access the resources they need. As a Development/Fundraising Intern, you’ll gain real experience in planning special events, securing sponsorships and donations, and assisting with fundraising projects. You won’t be on the sidelines – you’ll be part of the process.
We’re looking for someone who is organized, research-driven, and ready to contribute. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college or university, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.

Our Respite Getaways program offers weekend-long respite care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, perfect for families with ongoing caregiving responsibilities.
This upcoming getaway on May 1-3 includes a trip to the Skylands Stadium Food Truck Festival, where participants can enjoy delicious food, desserts, drinks, and entertainment in a fun, accessible setting, plus an overnight stay at Homewood Suites in Edison, NJ.
