Support Services

The goal of The Family Resource Network is to help the people we support personalize their options to achieve the lifestyle that best fits them. Rather than choosing from a menu of services, FRN will work with you to find or create a service based on your specific needs.

FRN offers a variety of support service options through FRN and its affiliates. Individuals may purchase these services with their Self-Directed budget or as an out-of-pocket expense. These services provide a starting point for creating supports that meet your needs. FRN is a DDD qualified provider. For more information on any of these services, or to speak with someone please call (800) 376-2345 or email FRN@familyresourcenetwork.org.

Training for the implementation of plans is also offered. All services are under the supervision of a BCBA.

In home support/respite

Respite Care is designed to assist families with the continuous caretaking needs of a family member with a developmental disability by providing temporary relief (in-home; provider's home; community) options. Trained workers offer families a break, while at the same time comfort in knowing their child is well cared for. If you are DDD eligible, you may request a referral from your case manager to start receiving respite services. A self-pay option is also available.

Overnight out-of-home Respite Getaways

An FRN coordinator plans several weekend Respite Getaways each month in destinations throughout New Jersey. These getaways provide caregivers with the opportunity to relax with peers and enjoy activities such as swimming, movies, museums, etc.
